Robi Ganguly’s Big Ideas

4 years ago, I wasn’t looking forward to the World Cup. My good friend Ben was heading over to Germany for a couple weeks to catch some of it and was pumped for it, but I didn’t get it. Then I sat down and watched some games, end to end. I got sucked in by the speed of the game, the crazy last minute upsets and the fact that each game was just 2 hours. Play, halftime, play. Not hours and hours of timeouts and commercials, just pure soccer. It was awesome and by the end I was calling Ben on the phone after major games to discuss them. One month was all I needed to become a much bigger soccer fan.

I’m f’ing pumped for this year’s. Kudos to Nike for tapping into that excitement appropriately.
